If the building is finished, we'll come and shoot it. If it isn't, we build the tour out of the CGI instead — same experience for the visitor, just rendered rather than photographed.
That second option is the useful one for developers. You can put a show flat online months before there is a show flat, and let people wander round it from the sofa. It also means every unit type can have a tour, not just the one you built out — which is usually the difference between a sales tool and a nice extra.
Hotspots to move between rooms, information points for specifications and finishes, floorplans to orient people, and links out to whatever you want them to do next — an enquiry form, a brochure, a booking.
Material and furniture options can sit behind a toggle, so someone can switch a kitchen finish or a flooring option and watch it change rather than imagining it. For a scheme with several house types, one tour can carry the lot.
The tour is hosted and embeddable, so it sits inside your own website rather than sending people off to somebody else's platform with their own branding on it. It's a link you can send, a QR code on a board, or a panel on a sales page.
It works on a phone, a tablet, a laptop or a sales suite screen without anyone installing anything. That sounds obvious, but it's the single biggest reason tours get used and headsets often don't — there's nothing between the person and the thing you want them to see.
