We make films about buildings and places, usually before they exist. Some are shot on location, some are built entirely in CGI, and plenty are a mix of the two where nobody can tell which is which.
A set of images shows you what a place looks like. A film shows you what it's like to move through it — how you arrive, where the light falls, how big the room actually feels. That's the bit that sells a scheme to a planning committee, or to a buyer who can't visit yet because there's nothing there to visit.
It also gives you something to lead with. A launch needs a moment, and a two-minute film is a far easier thing to put in front of a room, or a council, or a timeline, than a folder of images and a floorplan.
Most of our work sits somewhere between an architectural walkthrough and a proper piece of filmmaking. It's shot and cut like a film, not like a CAD flythrough — the camera moves for a reason, and the edit has a shape.

We usually come in once there's a model or a set of drawings, and we'll happily work from whatever you have. From there it's a storyboard, then a rough animatic so you can see the shape of the thing early, then look development, then the final render and grade.
You'll see it at every stage rather than at the end. That matters more than it sounds: changing a camera move at animatic stage costs nothing, and changing it after a week of rendering costs a week. The same goes for materials, landscaping and time of day — all much cheaper to argue about early.
If there's a real site to shoot, we'll shoot it, and cut the CGI in around it. Drone plates, existing buildings, neighbouring streets — anything that already exists is usually better filmed than modelled.

A finished film, delivered at whatever resolution and format you need — usually a high quality master for screens and presentations plus a compressed version for the web. We'll cut social versions from the same material, including vertical crops, because a film built for a launch event rarely works as-is on a phone.
You own the finished work and can use it however you like. If a scheme changes later, the project is archived so a revised version doesn't start from scratch.

Stadium and sports films, residential development launches, brand and product films, planning and consultation pieces, and social cutdowns of all of the above.
We've unveiled a whole stadium for Dundee FC with Holmes Miller, filmed retail interiors for Celtic FC, launched developments with Redwood Marketing at Bangour Village Estate, Winchburgh and The Maples, and worked on civic buildings including Paisley Town Hall and Meadowbank Sports Centre. It runs from pub refurbishments for Star Pubs to an adventure playground in Blenheim — and occasionally a good bit further afield, like Cherry Tree Park in Vancouver.
